Since 2009 China and Brazil launched a joint program to stimulate the growth of collaboration between the two countries in area of mathematical and computational modeling as well as scientific computing, A series of conferences have been held successfully in 2009, 2011 and 2013. The First Brazil-China Conference on Scientific Computing - BCSciComp2009 was held at Laboratório Nacional de Computação Científica - LNCC, Petrópolis, Brazil in 2009, the Second China-Brazil Conference on Scientific Computing - BCSciComp2011 was held at Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics - IAPCM, Beijing, China in 2011 and the Third Brazil-China Conference on Scientific Computing - BCSciComp2013 was held at COPPE/Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2013. The conferences brought together each time more than 30 invited speakers and many other participants coming from both countries, who presented their numerical and theoretical results and addressed their applications in various fields of science and technology.The Fourth China-Brazil Conference on Scientific Computing - CBSciComp2015 is organized by Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics/China, Laboratório Nacional de Computação Científica/Brazil and COPPE/Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, which will be held in Xian, China from September 21 to 25, 2015.This organization is dedicated to strengthen the collaboration between two countries on scientific computing related aspects and provide a forum for researchers to present recent achievements, exchange ideas, discover possibly new research areas and make new friends. All interested researchers and graduate students from all over the world are welcome to participate this fourth conference.
